of luxury service while cruising between Mandalay and
Bagan. The ship has a large sun deck, a swimming pool, a

cabin with a specious observation lounge. Cruises
include land tours of Mandalay and Bagan and also longer

RV PANDAW 1947 (AYRAVATA CRUISE)
RV PANDAW was powered by a stern paddle,
now replaced by modern engines. Conserving many original
features, the comfortable cabins are added, with air-con
and en suite shower rooms. There is a spacious
observation lounge in the force and dinning room aft. An
open observation deck extends aft of the flying bridge.
Finished in local hardwoods, and furniture with period
pieces, the Pandaw will house the collection of historic
prints and antiques. Promenade decks enable passengers
to sit outside their cabins. The intension has been to
recreate the atmosphere and character of the first
classic river steamer. There are 16 deluxe cabins with
own shower.
